<description>KU History Department Strengthens Ties With Fort Leavenworth
http://www.kuwatch.org/wordpress/?p=4

Universities do not exist in a vacuum; their activities impact local, regional, national and international conditions. KU students should also be concerned with their university’s growing role on international peace and conflict, especially if those involved in this program intend it to be used as a training ground for battlefield decision making. Remember, students enrolled in graduate history courses starting next year could be developing strategies or enacting orders to bomb, kill, detain, etc. in the middle east in the near future. This isn’t happening at a faraway military base or clandestine training compound, this is happening at YOUR university.

Look for updates soon.
