We, the political prisoners and prisoners of conscience of the Loxicha region write to you from behind these prison walls, having spent another winter and year’s end in this penitentiary.
We send our thanks to each and every one of you for your humanitarian stance in supporting us in this problematic situation that we’ve been in for eleven long years. We thank you for spreading the word and looking for mechanisms to win our freedom and the freedom of other comrades who are locked up in this state and in the country for political reasons. We send our combative, comradely greetings to all our brothers and sisters who are deprived of their freedom. (en español)
The difficult circumstances that we’ve confronted all these years haven’t led us to back down in our struggle. We’re keeping on with our feet planted firmly on the ground and our heads held high, raising our voices to expose all the abuses committed against us by state and federal authorities and demanding our freedom.
We believe that all of your efforts on our behalf will help us to keep on struggling in the year to come for the freedom of the Loxicha prisoners and the freedom of all other prisoners unjustly held by the authorities.

P E S E N T E :
Desde los cuatro muros de esta prisión, los presos políticos y de conciencia de la región loxicha; una vez más hemos pasado otro invierno y culminar el año viejo en este centro penitenciario.
Por lo que nos permitimos por medio de este espacio, enviarles nuestros agradecimientos a cada uno o una de ustedes, por su gesto humanitario, en apoyo a la problemática que estamos viviendo, durante más de 11 largos años, en la difusión y en la búsqueda de mecanismos por nuestra libertad y la libertad de otros compañeros presos, que están encarcelados en el estado y en el país; por motivos políticos; para nuestros hermanos y hermanas que se encuentran privados de la libertad, para ellos y ellas un fraternal y combativo saludo.
A pesar de las circunstancias difíciles que venimos enfrentando durante estos largos años, pero esto no es motivo para claudicar nuestra lucha, seguimos con los pies firmes y nuestra frente en alto, para continuar elevando nuestras voces evidenciando todos los atropellos que somos objeto por las autoridades estatales y federales, y en la exigencia de nuestra libertad.
Consideramos la fuerza que han empeñado cada uno de ustedes en nuestra lucha, esto nos ayudará para el año venidero de seguir luchando en la exigencia por la libertad de los presos loxicha; así como la libertad de otros presos que están privados de la libertad injustamente por las autoridades.
