10-megamarch-sm.jpg March 9th, 2007 – John Gibler writes: Yesterday’s march honoring International Women’s Day and led by the women’s organization that spearheaded the Channel 9 takeover on August 1, 2006, drew tens of thousands of people out into the street.

Patty Jimenez, one of the main organizers said: “I think people have completely over come their fear [after the months of parapolice killings, the November 25 crackdown and following witch hunt]. The APPO is returning not only to keep pushing for Ulises Ruiz’s ouster, but also to keep building new political projects in the state.”
