as much as i’m down with it and am glad it’s happenin, and this brad guy seems great, and i know lots of good folks were friends with him and i’m sure very sad and upset about it …

but come on … how is it we think it’s still all right to be jumping into action and naming and profiling the one american guy, while the others remain nameless in many of the postings … they are all our companeros… they all have names and family and friends …

MANY of us will be meeting at the Mexican Consulate in San Francisco (532 Folsom St.) on Monday, October 30th, at 6:45am, to send a strong message to the government of Mexico, that we will not allow this savage attack on our brothers and sisters in Oaxaca to be taking place and have business go on as usual.

Tonight and tomorrow at 9pm, we are meeting up at Station 40 (3030B 16th Street, in front of 16th/Mission Street Bart) to make banners, signs, and plans for the upcoming days. We really hope you can join us and help make this much stronger with your participation and support. Please bring anything that you think would be useful, but if you can’t, we will have some supplies here as well.

And please remember to invite others to come to the benefit for Oaxaca this Wednesday at 7pm at Station 40

Ongoing planning for reaction to the killing of Brad Will, Emilio Alonso Fabián, Esteban López Zurita, and repression in Oaxaca.

Hear and give reports on the murder of Brad, and the situation in Oaxaca.

Help plan for a week of solidarity with APPO, Oaxaca, and all those killed by political repression at the hands of the Mexican state.

Follow up to the meeting that took place on Friday night at Bluestockings Books.
