I am also from the Midwestern US, and a couple years ago an undocumented friend was killed by Milwaukee police who quickly tried to have his body repatriated to erase any possible responsibility. These two systems are increasingly connected and I think we should not only write about them, but use experiences in different places to share resistance strategies.....
