As the people of Mexico continue their struggle for justice, autonomy, and dignity, the United States physically and economically supports violence against the poor.

In DC, we will gather in Murrow Park at 5pm, across from the World Bank (18th and H, NW). The World Bank props up governments that destroy poor and indigenous communities in Oaxaca. At 5:30 we will march to the Mexican Embassy (1911 Pennsylvania Ave, NW) to demand that the Mexican government be held accountable for the atrocities committed in Oaxaca.
The Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN) has called for international solidarity actions on December 22 to tell the Mexican government that the whole world is watching what is going on in Oaxaca,and that we support the demands of the APPO.
Bring pots, pans, drums, loud noisemakers, and your friends for a raucous cacerolazo!
We demand:
- the release of all political prisoners
- the resignation of the Oaxacan governor
- an investigation into all the disappearances
- and that the demands of the APPO be met.

LLAMADO A UNA MOVILIZACION PARA EL 22 DICIEMBRE EN SOLIDARIDAD AL PUEBLO DE OAXACA!
Mientras el pueblo de Mexico continúa con su lucha por justicia, autónomia y dignidad, los Estados Unidos apoya la violencia en contra de los mas pobres, física y económicamente.
Por la llamada del Ejercito Zapatista Liberacion Nacional (EZLN), en Washington, D.C., nos vamos a reunir en Murrow Park a las 5: OO PM frente a las oficinas del World Bank (Banco Mundial) 18th y H,NW. El Banco Mundial, es la institución responsable de implementar las políticas que destruyen a las comunidades indígenas en Oaxaca. A las 5:30 marcharemos hacia la embajada mexicana, (que esta localizada en 1911 Pennsylvania, Ave NW) para exigirle al gobierno mexicano que de cuentas de las otrocidades cometidas en el estado de Oaxaca, y que apoyamos todas las demandas de la Asamble Popular de los Pueblos de Oaxaca (APPO)
Traigamos pucheros, cacerolas, y algo que hacen ruidos fuertes para una manifestacion al estilo “cacerolazo” bien ruidoso.
Exigimos:
-La Libertad de todos los Presos Políticos.
-Salida inmediata del Gobernador Ulises Ruiz
-La presentación inmediáta de todos los desaparecidos.
