Se trata de la zona m\u00e1s angosta del pa\u00eds, entre los dos oc\u00e9anos: el Pac\u00edfico, al sur y el Atl\u00e1ntico, al norte (m\u00e1s conocido como Golfo de M\u00e9xico), siendo el punto de encuentro entre las especies de flora y fauna del norte, con las del sur; Estas caracter\u00edsticas convierten al Istmo en la regi\u00f3n de mayor diversidad biol\u00f3gica del pa\u00eds, invaluable riqueza de vida que se concentra en los territorios ind\u00edgenas que poseemos 11 diferentes pueblos ind\u00edgenas, 8 con posesi\u00f3n ancestral (zapotecos, mixes, ikoots, zoques\/chimalapas, zoque popolucas, chontales, chochocos y nahuas) y tres pueblos migrantes, por desplazamiento y reubicaci\u00f3n forzada (chinantecos, mixtecos y tsotsiles) \u00a0Pueblos Ind\u00edgenas que hemos resguardado con firmeza los bienes naturales de nuestros territorios, hasta el d\u00eda de hoy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">ANTE LA INMINENTE AMENAZA DE PARTE DEL GOBIERNO DE LA 4T<br \/>\nY DEL PRESIDENTE ANDR\u00c9S MANUEL L\u00d3PEZ OBRADOR (AMLO)<br \/>\nDE IMPONERLE A LOS PUEBLOS DEL ISTMO DE TEHUANTEPEC,<br \/>\nAL PUEBLO DE M\u00c9XICO Y A LA NACI\u00d3N MISMA,<br \/>\nEL LLAMADO <strong>\u201cPROGRAMA DE DESARROLLO INTEGRAL DEL ISTMO DE TEHUANTEPEC \u2013 TREN INTEROCE\u00c1NICO\u201d<\/strong> (POPULARMENTE CONOCIDO DESDE 1996, COMO <strong>\u201cMEGAPROYECTO DEL ISTMO\u201d<\/strong>)<br \/>\nY <strong>CONSIDERANDO QUE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>DICHO MEGAPROYECTO DEL ISTMO, NO ES OTRA COSA, SINO UN MONSTRUOSO CANAL SECO MULTIMODAL, ALTERNATIVO AL CANAL DE PANAM\u00c1, PARA EL BENEFICIO DEL COMERCIO CORPORATIVO GLOBAL ENTRE EL OC\u00c9ANO ATL\u00c1NTICO Y EL OC\u00c9ANO PAC\u00cdFICO,<\/li>\n<li>TIENE COMO EJE, UN TREN BALA DE CARGA, LA AMPLIACI\u00d3N Y MODERNIZACI\u00d3N DE LA CARRETERA TRANS\u00cdSTMICA AS\u00cd COMO DE LOS PUERTOS DE SALINA CRUZ Y COATZACOALCOS;<\/li>\n<li>ACOMPA\u00d1ADO DEL SAQUEO Y LA PRIVATIZACI\u00d3N DE LOS INVALUABLES BIENES NATURALES DE LOS TERRITORIOS IND\u00cdGENAS Y CAMPESINOS, DE 80 MUNICIPIOS OAXAQUE\u00d1OS Y VERACRUZANOS, UBICADOS EN LA ZONA M\u00c1S BIODIVERSA DE M\u00c9XICO, POR UN CORREDOR INDUSTRIAL Y AGROINDUSTRIAL DE EMPRESAS MAQUILADORAS, ARMADORAS Y EXTRACTIVISTAS (MINAS, EXTRACCI\u00d3N PETROLERA, PARQUES E\u00d3LICOS, REPRESAS, TURISMO, ETC),<\/li>\n<li>TODO ELLO AL SERVICIO DE LOS INTERESES Y PARA EL LUCRO MULTIMILLONARIO DE LAS EMPRESAS MULTINACIONALES Y LOS GOBIERNOS M\u00c1S PODEROSOS DEL MUNDO;<\/li>\n<li>UNA INVERSI\u00d3N DE ESA MAGNITUD, IMPLICAR\u00cdA LA TOTAL MILIITARIZACI\u00d3N DE TODO EL ISTMO, PONIENDO EN RIESGO LA REGI\u00d3N GEOESTRAT\u00c9GICA M\u00c1S IMPORTANTE DE NUESTRA NACI\u00d3N.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">POR LO CUAL, P\u00daBLICAMENTE <strong>RATIFICAMOS <\/strong>QUE ESTE<br \/>\nMEGAPROYECTO DEL ISTMO \u2013 TREN INTEROCE\u00c1NICO,<br \/>\n<strong>CONSTITUYE UN GRAVE ATENTADO CONTRA:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>LA MADRE NATURALEZA<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>LOS DERECHOS DE LOS PUEBLOS DEL ISTMO<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>LOS DERECHOS DE TODO EL PUEBLO MEXICANO<\/strong>;
