Kansas City: Action in Solidarity with Oaxaca

The situation in Oaxaca, Mexico is still quite dire. The Oaxacan people have not stopped resisting, and still control most of Oaxaca City with road blockades. However, the Mexican Federal Police are aggressively occupying the city, abusing, arresting, and disappearing nonviolent demonstrators.

The Mexican and US Governments need to know that the world’s eye is still on Oaxaca!

The People of Oaxaca have called for international solidarity actions on Monday, November 20th, TOMORROW!

Kansas Mutual Aid and the Cross Border Network are having a protest and meeting at the Mexican Consulate in Kansas City at 3:30pm. Four will go inside for a meeting at 4pm.

To carpool from Lawrence, meet at Solidarity (1109 Massachusetts) at 2:30pm sharp! Please let me know if you can go so I can make sure we have enough cars (my phone and email are below).
