Kansas City: Action in Solidarity with Oaxaca

The situation in Oaxaca, Mexico is still quite dire. The Oaxacan people have not stopped resisting, and still control most of Oaxaca City with road blockades. However, the Mexican Federal Police are aggressively occupying the city, abusing, arresting, and disappearing nonviolent demonstrators.

The Mexican and US Governments need to know that the world’s eye is still on Oaxaca!

To carpool from Lawrence, meet at Solidarity (1109 Massachusetts) at 2:30pm sharp! Please let me know if you can go so I can make sure we have enough cars (my phone and email are below).
