In Mexico, an elementary school teacher who also was a community organizer in the indigenous community of El Bosque in Chiapas, was framed in the killing of 8 cops, and faces 60 years in prison.
A tremendous effort was required to reach a consensus on a Plan of Action with certain axes; the Plan will be implemented from now until December 3 by the participating organizations who will first seek approval in their assemblies.
It was a creative demonstration, in which steadfastness in the demand for true justice contrasted with the tone of another event going on at the same time in the same building between the government and several organizations representing people affected by the movement of 2006.
